Circe tote bag

An homage to ‘Circe Offering the Cup to Ulysses’ painted on my university tote bag.

This piece pushed me not only due to the incredible detail on the original painting, but also the material of the tote bag. Its rough texture meant I often struggled with the finer details, and had to apply thick layers. The texture of the bag also meant that the painting did not photograph well, as seen through the little white dots that can be spotted. Despite this, however, it remains one that I am still incredibly proud of.
